Connecting Linear

Fishladder integrates with Linear to pull in your projects, initiatives, and cycles. The connection is per-team — a team admin must authorize access.

How to Connect

  1. Go to Settings → Profile.
  2. Under Linear Integration, click Connect Linear.
  3. Authorize Fishladder in the Linear OAuth prompt.
  4. Once connected, press R or click the sync button to pull in your data.

How It Works

  • All Linear API calls are proxied through Fishladder's server. Your token is never exposed to the browser.
  • The team shares a single Linear connection. Any team member can view synced data, but only the connected admin's token is used for API calls.
  • Tokens are automatically refreshed when they expire.

Disconnecting

To disconnect, go to Settings → Profile and click Disconnect. This removes the OAuth token but does not delete any synced data from Fishladder.

One Connection Per User

Each Linear account can only be connected to one Fishladder team at a time. If you try to connect the same Linear account to a second team, the previous connection is transferred.
