Command Palette
The command palette gives you instant access to navigation, task creation, AI features, and account settings from anywhere in Fishladder. It works like Spotlight on macOS or the VS Code command palette.
Opening the Palette
Press Cmd+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux to open the palette. Press Esc to close it, or click anywhere outside the modal.
Navigating Results
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| ↑ / ↓ | Move selection up or down |
| Enter | Execute the selected command |
| Tab | Autocomplete the selected label into the search input |
| Esc | Close the palette |
Available Commands
Commands are grouped into categories. Type a few characters to filter results — the palette uses fuzzy matching, so you don't need to type exact names.
Navigate
- Go to Roadmap, Timeline, Kanban, Goals, Feedback
- Go to Projects, My Tasks, Settings
- Go to any specific project by name (dynamic — updates as you create projects)

- New Task
- New Project

- Open AI Panel (A I) — opens the AI slide-out panel
- AI Chat — opens the panel directly to the chat tab

Dynamic Commands
The palette automatically includes your roadmap items and tracker projects as navigable commands. If you have a project called "Mobile App", typing mob will surface "Go to Mobile App" in the results.
Tips
- You can trigger AI actions (like analyzing feedback) from any view without navigating away first.
- The palette remembers nothing between opens — it always starts with an empty search and all commands visible.
- Fuzzy matching is forgiving — nw tsk will match "New Task".
