Team Switching
If you belong to multiple teams, you can switch between them using the team switcher in the top-right corner of the toolbar. Each team has its own roadmap, projects, feedback, and settings.

Switching Teams
- Click the team name button in the top-right corner.
- A dropdown shows all teams you belong to, with a checkmark next to the active one.
- Click a different team to switch. The page reloads with that team's data.
Switching teams clears your local UI state and loads fresh data from the server for the selected team.
Creating a New Team
- Open the team switcher dropdown.
- Click Create new team.
- Enter a name for the team and confirm.
You automatically become the admin of any team you create. From there, invite members, connect Linear, and set up your board.
Archiving a Team
A team you have finished with can be archived instead of deleted. An archived team disappears from the team switcher for everyone in it, and from fish teams and the Claude connector — but nothing is removed. Members, boards, documents and settings stay exactly as they were, and the team comes back unchanged when it is restored.
- Go to Settings → Team and find the team under Your teams.
- Click Archive and confirm. If it is the team you are currently in, you are switched to another one.
Only an admin of that team can archive it, and you cannot archive your only team — there would be nowhere to move you to. To bring a team back, open Settings → Archived Teams and click Restore. That page lists every archived team you belong to, so a team that vanished from your switcher can always be accounted for; restoring is admin-only too.
Archiving is not deleting. Delete team in the Danger Zone removes every member and makes the team inaccessible; archiving only hides it.
Team Data Isolation
Each team is completely separate. Roadmap items, kanban layout, feedback entries, goals, projects, and settings are all scoped to the active team. Members of one team cannot see another team's data.
