AI-Powered Hiring

The ATS includes AI features throughout the hiring workflow to help you write better content and make informed decisions faster. These features require the Anthropic API key to be configured.

Job Description Generation

In the job settings dialog, click Generate with AI next to the Description or Requirements fields. The AI uses the job title, department, location, type, and salary range as context to produce:

  • A compelling role overview with "What You'll Do" bullet points
  • Inclusive requirements split into Required and Nice-to-Have sections

You can edit the generated text freely — it's just a starting point.

Email Template Generation

On the Templates page, each template editor includes an AI generation prompt. Type what kind of email you need (e.g., "interview invitation", "rejection letter", "offer email") and the AI generates a complete template with subject line and body, including template variables like {{candidate_name}} and {{job_title}}.

AI Candidate Summary

In the candidate detail drawer's Notes tab, click Generateunder "AI Summary" to get a concise overview of the candidate's application status, notes, and key strengths. This is especially useful when reviewing candidates before an interview.

AI Interview Questions

In the Interviews tab of the candidate drawer, click Suggest Questions to generate tailored interview questions based on the job description, requirements, and current pipeline stage. Each question includes a brief explanation of what it evaluates.

Candidate Scoring

The AI can evaluate a candidate's fit for a role with a structured scoring system. It analyzes the candidate's profile, application details, notes, and interview feedback to produce:

  • An overall fit score (1–100)
  • Category breakdowns (skills match, experience, cultural fit)
  • Strengths, concerns, and a recommendation (strong hire, hire, maybe, pass)

Scoring results are recorded as AI actions and can be reviewed or undone from the AI Panel.

Pipeline Bottleneck Analysis

The AI analyzes your hiring pipeline to identify stages where candidates are getting stuck. For each bottleneck it reports:

  • Which stage has the most candidates stalled
  • The average time candidates spend in each stage
  • Specific candidates who may need attention
  • Recommended actions to unblock the pipeline

Bottleneck findings are recorded as signals in the AI Panel and can be resolved once addressed.
